It was so fun to do.
These were done in a series, I guess. I was trying to use random paints in the background of whatever I had left from watercolor class and then challenged myself to make something out of them. The results were pretty interesting and doodling is always fun to do while in gen ed. classes. Hah.
More's under the cut if you wanna check out my babbling!
Below is a series where I was using random materials that I found here and there on campus.
I always liked this lady and the original is Portrait of Battista Sforza by Pierro della Francesca. I had wanted to make some sort of fancy design, but with unconventional materials.
This, hahaha, is about a certain male anatomy. That is all.
This was...fun. I used video tape for the hair and some old text that I got for free at the library. The tape was funny in that whenever I snapped it into pieces, this weird metallic powder would come out and the next thing I knew it was all over the table. I got a little worried if it was dangerous and luckily (with some searching on Google), it wasn't. Still.
I saw this really psychedelic postcard for some gallery show that I can't remember anymore and I thought it would be great to do something retro with it. It didn't end up quite as retro as I wanted and there permanent marker didn't like the glossy paper all that much, but it was interesting to try out nevertheless.
This next batch's just some sketches here and there whenever I was bored.
A song prompt drawing from...a song I can't recall at the moment. Er.
My dorm was really hot early in this school year.
A dream log.
Aaaaand of course the obligatory character sketches of old characters. I haven't drawn them in a while, really, and I still have to perfect the story they're in. Haha, as far as I know, I might have to rehaul the whole plot, but...hm.
Aaaaaand that's it! Go get tea everyone.
